What Slow Fashion Means to Me<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Slow fashion, for me, is consciousness. It\u2019s the foundation of my sustainable lingerie practice \u2014 a deep awareness of what I create, how I create it, and for whom.
It\u2019s about intention and refinement, not haste or mass repetition.<\/p>\n

When I design, I return to each pattern again and again. I don\u2019t believe in perfection as an endpoint \u2014 only in evolution. Most of my patterns remain alive, shaped by every woman who wears them, by each fitting that brings new understanding.<\/p>\n

Slow fashion means I design with purpose. I create lingerie meant to last \u2014 not only in form but in meaning.
It\u2019s sewing with dedication, honouring the time each piece needs to come alive.<\/p>\n

One of my favourite moments is when a client visits the atelier for a fitting. Together, we adjust the piece until it feels just right on her skin \u2014 that instant when she stands before the mirror and sees herself differently. That\u2019s the moment where creation meets transformation.<\/p>\n

The Rhythm of My Work<\/strong><\/h2>\n

My designs are naturally slow.
I visualise them first, sketch them, then let them rest. After a few days, I return with fresh eyes to seek the best way to bring them to life.<\/p>\n

I test every prototype on myself. Lingerie must not only look beautiful \u2014 it must feel<\/em> beautiful, soft against the skin, comfortable in motion, effortless to wear.<\/p>\n

When I sew, I connect deeply with the piece. I believe the energy I hold while working becomes part of the garment. If I\u2019m not emotionally well, I prefer to wait. I would rather pause than rush something that deserves full attention and presence.<\/p>\n

In mass production, a garment passes through many hands, losing intimacy and intention along the way. In my atelier, I follow each piece from the first cut to the final stitch. That continuity, that full creative arc, is the true beauty of handmade lingerie \u2014 watching it take shape, thread by thread, until it feels alive.<\/p>\n

Staying Local, Staying True<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Slow fashion is, by nature, sustainable \u2014 not only for the planet but for the people behind every creation.<\/p>\n

For me, sustainability is not a trend; it\u2019s a way of existing in harmony with craft and place.
I source locally whenever possible and use limited materials \u2014 French lace and deadstock fabrics rescued from European mills. These fabrics deserve to be transformed into something lasting, not forgotten.<\/p>\n

The profession of the seamstress has been undervalued for far too long. Here in Spain, many workshops closed when fast fashion took over. Producing far away has never made sense to me \u2014 the soul of the garment gets lost.<\/p>\n

Now I produce everything myself. And I love it, but I know in one moment it will be impossible for me to personally produce all, apart from all that implies running the business. When the day comes that I have help with production, it will remain close \u2014 within reach, within conversation. I am committed to keeping my lingerie made in Spain, preserving craftsmanship here in Barcelona.
Because I believe in human connection: in knowing who makes what we wear.<\/p>\n

Large-scale production feels impersonal. Something essential disappears when garments are made without touch, without presence.<\/p>\n

Yes, producing locally is more expensive \u2014 but values come before profit.
If some of us don\u2019t protect this way of working, true craftsmanship will fade away.<\/p>\n

But presence only exists if you, too, are present when you choose it.<\/p>\n

So I always say: buy with presence.
Don\u2019t buy more \u2014 buy meaningfully.

Slow fashion lingerie is more than ethical \u2014 it\u2019s deeply sensual.
It fits the body perfectly, lasts longer, and respects the skin. But beyond the material, it transforms the way you feel.<\/p>\n

When a woman wears something made with time and attention, something changes within her. She reconnects with her body, her sensuality, her quiet confidence. She dresses for herself, not for the gaze of others.<\/p>\n

Each time I send a piece out into the world, a part of me goes with it.
